Job Description

We are looking for a friendly personality to support our team in achieving our ambitious goals. As dedicated fundraiser, you play an important role in the further development of our organization and people.

Responsibilities Fundraiser

• Overseeing the fundraising strategy and update the fundraising strategy on yearly basis. Keeping the full Follow This team aligned with the fundraising strategy and its workplan as that is a full teams’ effort.
• Establishing relations with partners and conducting negotiations, meetings with business structures on sponsorship (in cash and in kind) for the project.
• Maintaining positive working relationships with our donors, creating and executing robust stewardship plans.
• Updating and maintaining records and statistics on donors and donations.
• Creation of a database of donors and donors and its constant updating. Maintaining contact with active donors.
  Writing of funding proposals and partnership reports and documentation.
• Further development of the fundraising strategy and setting up and/or conducting fundraising campaigns and other activities including donor engagement events.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic person capable to tell the Follow This story to a broad audience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of fundraising (raising resources for charitable programs).
• ability and willingness to negotiate directly with potential donors, donors, business structures, civil servants, etc.
• ability to make presentations and their presentation to the audience of potential benefactors.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  Fluent in both Dutch and English.
